El Baño Grande

Book Assigner’s Note (Admiral Fartmore): Beau Dashington reallllly didn’t like this book… which is exactly what you’d expect from a gay Nazi horse in human form.
There’s always a moment of anticipation right before you get assigned your book, here at the Piece of Shit Book Club™. When Admiral Fartmore told me that I was going to be assigned the Pink Swastika: Homosexuality in the Nazi Party, my first response was confusion. “So, its a book that says there were some gay Nazis?”
“No,” the Admiral responded, “Its about how all of the Nazis were gay.” And that’s basically a summary of the book. Its a book that says all Nazis were gay, and therefore all gay people are Nazis. Before I go on, I would just like to state clearly and for the record, that this book is the worst Piece of Shit™ I have ever read. I’m not saying that as a joke; it is literally the most petty, hateful, badly researched and poorly written book that I have ever come across, and I’ve read a book by James Franco.
Basically, the authors’ central point is that some Nazis were gay, therefore all Nazis were gay. They provide some citations and references and stuff to try to provide evidence that some key Nazi officials were gay. I honestly can’t be fucked to go check them, but it isn’t necessary. Sure, some of the Naxis were probably gay. Some of the American Founding Fathers were probably gay. Estimations are typically that 3-6% of the population self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Meaning that probably 3-6% of the Nazis were gay, and 3-6% of the American Founding Fathers were gay. Hell, it probably means that 3-6% of the 1991 Stanley Cup winning Pittsburgh Penguins were gay. I wonder who it was? Regardless, just because some of them were, does mean that all of them were. Just because some people are gay, does not mean that all people they associate with are.
Although we may never know which of the 1991 Stanley-Cup winning Pittsburgh Penguins was gay, I think we all hope it was Paul Coffey.
Which leads me to a clarification; this book only mentions “gays.” It does not mention those who may identify as lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, intersex, or others. This book is very much anti-gay, i.e. men who have sex with other men. This book’s central theory is that there were two types of gay men in the Nazi regime: “fems” and “butches”. The “butches” wanted to take over, but they didn’t like the “fems” since they gave gay men a bad name. So they did a Holocaust to get rid of the fems. The logic is flimsy, the evidence is non-existent.
The next point that this book makes is that Hitler was a boy prostitute, and that he used to work in a “flophouse” before he was a Nazi. And, that’s how the gays managed to take over, since they had evidence that Hitler was a boy prostitute, and they used that to make him push the Nazis gay agenda. I’ll just leave that subject now, and allow you to form a mental picture of that in your mind.
Boy prostitute Adolf Hitler in his “flophouse”.
The book concludes that since gays were responsible for the Nazis, and the Holocaust was just an excuse to get rid of the “fem” gays, therefore the push for equal rights in the USA is the second coming of the Third Reich. The authors conclude, therefore, that the contemporary LGBT+ led movement for equal rights is a second coming of the Nazis. Its almost too terrible to make fun of. It would be funny if it wasn’t so hate-filled.
This is the worst book I’ve ever come across, and if the authors had any self-awareness or empathy for other human beings, they would be deeply ashamed of themselves. Both of them – but especially that gigantic piece of shit Scott Lively – have been involved not only in bigoted criticism of the LGBT community, but were also involved in helping certain developing countries draft legislation to punish members of the LGBT community with death. They are also big proponents of conversion therapy, which is also known as “praying the gay away.”
It is for all these reasons, and for producing a disgusting hate-filled book, that I am proud to present the authors of Pink Swastika a new award I just created; El Baño Grande. This new award is for people who are complete pieces of shit™ who also write books which are complete pieces of shit™. Scott Lively; this one’s for you. Go fuck yourself.
